AD – We checked out one of the more unique fun family experiences in the City, Up at The O2 was an amazing adventure and a great sense of accomplishment for the kids.

We embarked on a thrilling family escapade unlike any other we have done before. In the heart of London next to the Thames, this iconic landmark built to celebrate the millennium has created an unforgettable experience for adventurers of all ages.

After checking in ten minutes before our booked time we got fitted up in state-of-the-art climbing gear, not knowing what to expect got the heart racing a bit and anticipation was sky high. We got a great briefing to prepare us to conquer the heights of one of the city’s most renowned landmarks. As we stepped onto the exhilarating walkway, suspended above the bustling streets below, we faced a mixture of fear and excitment. Climbing up was hard work, got our exercise for the day, but coming down is in some ways harder as its pretty steep.

We weren’t seasoned climbers and quite new to the thrill of heights, and for us the ascent offered a perfect blend of challenge and excitement, making it an ideal adventure for us as a whole family to enjoy together.
