Woodmill Coffee Kitchen

Woodmill Coffee Kitchen is a great cafe which has a garden overlooking the river, they serve up coffee from one of our fave local roasters, Deveroast and has a cosy atmosphere inside the listed building which also serves up a large range of homemade cakes and pastries. ☕️

Coffeelogy

Popped into this new family run business, Coffelogy. Really cool and quirky interiors in this gallery and interior design spot which is also a coffee stop. Big wide open windows with views on Southamptons parks and it’s right by one of the bus terminals which is handy for grabbing a drink before hopping on. ☕️
They serve up Turkish coffees and some Turkish light dishes like the brekkie pictured as well as all the normal coffees and teas, as well as smoothies and milkshakes.
Their design office provides a meeting point for local freelance designers and artists while their gallery showcases the work of artists. A pretty unique atmosphere for a coffee spot tagged on.

Black Wax Coffee & Records

Right next to the waterfront in Hythe, in the heart of the high st is this independent spot, a Part vinyl shop, part coffee spot, Black Wax Coffee & Records. We loved the cosy vibe and friendly atmosphere. Some original records sopping as the soundtrack, we sat and enjoyed some coffees, a smoothie and cookies too. ☕️🍪
They also buy and sell used records too.
📍10 High St, Hythe, Southampton SO45 6AH
Eling Tide Mill

We like to pop into the cafe at the Eling Tide Mill Experience for some coffees and hot choccies as well as a bacon sarnie. ☕️
They also sell the eling whole meal bread to enjoy which is made at the mill. 🍞
The earliest known mill in Eling is recorded in the 1086 Domesday Survey. You can explore the mill’s story in the Visitor Centre and see flour being made in the mill the same way it has been for hundreds of years.

Heavenly Desserts

Just two mins walks from Bargate, Heavenly Desserts on the high st. We visit this spot before for their brilliant sweet treats, diverse range of drinks and brunch menu. It has sleek interiors inside with lots of booths perfect for families and bright and light. ☕️
Coffee wise, they serve up all the usual numbers but some great iced coffees too, we tried the pistachio iced coffee.

Maritimo Lounge

Martitmo Lounge, in Ocean Village, offers a relaxed and inviting atmosphere with stunning views of the marina. This cozy spot is perfect for enjoying a coffee while you unwind, whether you’re inside its stylish interior or enjoying the view from the terrace. The lounge’s laid-back vibe makes it an ideal place to pause, reflect, or catch up with friends, all while soaking in the peaceful surroundings. ☕️
We have also visited a few times for food and have loved eating the delicious food with the view so would highly recommend!
