A pushchair friendly 1.5km stroll starting at Eling car park and heading on a great circular stroll around Eling including the most stunning part on the boardwalks of Bartley water with some great info boards too with a refreshment stop at the cafe at the Eling Tide Mill Experience. 🌿

Lee on Solent

We walk east along the promenade past the sailing club, on route there’s a playground, playing field, and beach huts and the flat pathway running right along the beach is perfect for those with pushchairs.

There are two circular walks here with the slightly shorter one being perfect for families. Beaulieu to Bucklers Hard

This family friendly walk in this beautiful area of the New Forest is a firm favourite with us. It is a 5 mile walk in total from the village to Buckler’s hard and back and follows a footpath along through countryside and forests with nearby views of the river which it winds past. It normally takes around 45 minutes one way. ⛵️

This is a nice area to explore with three walk options with coloured markers so easy to follow, free parking, big picnic area with picnic tables in woods and stunning landscape and the chance to spot some deer from the viewing platform! 🦌

Meon Valley Trail

Love the Meon Valley Trail for a family walk. This is a nice and short circular route you can do in Wickham and takes around an hour with young kids and is suitable for buggies too! 🥾🌳

Forest of Bere

This walk is very popular with families, it has picnic areas, toilets, a coffee vendor and fenced playground for younger kids as well as one in the woodland next to it for older kids and lots of obstacles all near the car park with a lovely walk around the forest perfect for buggies! 🌿

Stoke Park Wood

Stoke Park Wood is a huge woodland area stretching from Eastleigh, Bishopstoke and across to Fair Oak, there is a variety of wide clear paths around the woodlands of varying lengths and the around the area you will see a lovely mix of both newly planted trees as well as ancient woodland.
