There’s a great selection of sunflower experiences around Hampshire and each has its unique points, below are three great spots we visited. We look forward to visiting more spots and growing the list!

Picking Patch in Fordingbridge, New Forest

This New Forest spot just near Ringwood which has a great focus on interactive kids activities they can take part in. This works particularly well if mum and dad want to pick sunflowers, and if the kids quickly lose interest in the pick-your-own aspect.

They have tons of activities on offer, Puzzle Maize Maze and Pop Up Escape Rooms. Get creative in the graffiti area, arts & crafts and our photogenic sunflower carriage for those insta worthy photos or enjoy a picnic in our bespoke picnic pods

The kids highlights was the escape rooms , they have a selection of two, one sweet factory themed and one pirate themed and the kids went straight for the sweetie themed. Accompanied by a friendly staff member who gave prompts at the right times, the kids figured out a series of clues to escape which they enjoyed.

Sam’s Sunflowers at Stoke Farm Fruit Shop, Hayling Island

We enjoyed a fab visit to arguably Hampshire’s biggest sunflower experience.
This isn’t just a little sunflower field to have a short walk and pick a few, it’s huge with so much to do, you can easily spend hours there!

We arrived thinking it would just be a simple sunflower field but were very impressed by the setup. They had some great photo ops on hay bales, tractors🚜, a viewing platform, you could explore the long paths carved through the sunflower fields, there were cold drinks and snacks on offer, and enjoyed some ice creams 🍦🍦 and mocktails after the exploring on ahot day☀️.

What we thought would be a quick half an hour, turned into a good few hours enjoying the farm.

You can find more info on their site here if you are planning to visit (the sunflower fields are not at the farm itself, but nearby)… https://www.stokefruitfarm.co.uk/sunflower-faq-s
